I am a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, CrossFit L-1 coach, Mama, self-proclaimed foodie, and cheerleader for many. I specialize in prenatal/postpartum health and am passionate about nutrition and fitness support: before, with and after baby!
When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was shocked by the lack of quality information and support surrounding prenatal nutrition and fitness. In one appointment, I was shamed by my doctor for simultaneously being “too heavy” and for not gaining enough weight. #CantWin #NewDoctorPlease. Like many mamas, my postpartum time was made more difficult as I waded through the social media sea of “get your pre-baby body back". I finally learned to call #bullshit and celebrate the fact that my awesome body just CREATED LIFE, and I want you to feel this way, too.
My personal struggles with disordered eating, digestive dysfunction and postpartum body image, coupled with witnessing the women I care about most struggle with poor relationships with food and exercise, difficult pregnancies, low energy, and extreme PMS symptoms all have informed my specialized motherhood health practice.
